EVENT INFORMATION
INDYCAR unveiled the new NTT INDYCAR SERIES chassis and powertrain package for 2028. Its first official laps at speed took place on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course this past month, and it will hit the famed oval for more testing! This continues Indianapolis Motor Speedway's story as a hub for testing and innovation.
ON TRACK
2016 Indianapolis 500 winner Alexander Rossi will drive the 2.5 mile oval on Wednesday September, 9.
2025 Indianapolis 500 winner Alex Palou will hit the track on Thursday September, 10.

VIEWING & PARKING
Fans can view the test free of charge on the Turn 2 Mounds. Spectators should park in the IMS Museum Parking Lot inside Tunnel 2.
