EVENT INFORMATION

This week, INDYCAR unveiled the new NTT INDYCAR SERIES chassis and powertrain package for 2028, and its first official laps at speed will take place on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. This continues Indianapolis Motor Speedway's story as a hub for testing and innovation.

ON TRACK

2016 Indianapolis 500 winner Alexander Rossi will take the IR-28 for a spin around the 2.439-mile IMS road course Saturday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Then, 2025 Indianapolis 500 winner Alex Palou will hit the track on Sunday from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

VIEWING & PARKING

Fans fan view the test free of charge on the Turn 2 Mounds. Spectators should park in the IMS Museum Parking Lot, with overflow parking available in the IMS Museum East Lot and 5th Street South lot, all inside Tunnel 2.
