Plan Ahead

16th St Bridge Closure

The 16th Street bridge over White River is closed. Guests should plan to utilize 10th Street, Michigan Street, New York Street or Washington Street bridges over White River and take White River Parkway north to 16th Street. Guests can also continue on 10th Street to Tibbs Avenue and turn North toward 16th Street. Gate 2 is credential-only both Saturday and Sunday, meaning all guests must have a pre-paid parking pass. Gate 2 is not accessible from the west, so guests should plan to arrive from the east and turn right into Tunnel 2.

Guests may also use the newly reopened 30th Street bridge and enter the facility from the north side of the racetrack through Gate 10. Free parking is available in the North 40 (Lot 7). Additionally, Turn 3 infield parking should be accessed through Gate 10. Gate 10 will allow both east and west bound traffic to turn into the gate.

NASCAR Cup Series Race Day

Sunday, July 26

Entrance Gates

The following gates are open for Brickyard 400 presented by PPG Race Day on Sunday, July 26: Gate 1, Gate 2, Gate 3, Gate 4, Gate 6, Gate 7, Gate 9, Gate 10, Gate 10A and Gate 11A.

Road Closures

Closures will occur between 16th Street and Olin Avenue starting approximately one hour before the start of the race until the checkered flag of the Cup Race.

Georgetown Road, south of 25th Street, will be closed to all vehicular traffic starting approximately one hour before the start of the race until the checkered flag of the Cup Race. To access parking lots along Georgetown Road after the road closure, southbound traffic should take 25th Street to Auburn Street, northbound traffic should take Crawfordsville Road to Winton Avenue.

Exiting the Facility

Vehicular traffic exiting Indianapolis Motor Speedway parking lots will be directed by public safety officials to ensure the quickest possible route. Vehicles will be allowed to exit once pedestrian traffic clears.

The following gates are open for NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Race Day on Saturday, July 25: Gate 1, Gate 2, Gate 3, Gate 4, Gate 6, Gate 7, Gate 9, Gate 10, and Gate 11A.

Available Parking

Paid parking will be available at Lot 2, Lot 3G and Main Gate for $20. Free parking is located in Lot 7 (North 40).

Road Closures

Parking within the Infield Turn 3 is available for $25. Passes are pre-sold only. Enter through Gate 2 from 16th Street or Gate 10 from 30th Street.
