Purchasing Tickets With The Indianapolis Motor Speedway
There are three methods to purchasing tickets to events at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway
IN PERSON
In person at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Ticket Office during normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m Eastern Time) or during extended event hours.
BY TELEPHONE
By telephone at 317-492-6700.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Ticket Office accepts checks, money orders, cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) and mobile payments (Samsung Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay). Checks or money orders are only accepted up to 14 business days from the purchased event.

Payment must be made in full at the time of the order. All ticket sales are final – no refunds.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway reminds fans that purchasing tickets from secondary, unauthorized vendors may result in fraudulent purchases. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets directly from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Ticket Office.
Guests with Accessible Needs
Arrangements can be made through the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Ticket Office to accommodate guests who require accessible seating and parking. Accessible seats and spaces for wheelchairs and companion seats are available.

Ticket Office Policies
Tickets
Any person, regardless of age, must have a reserved seat ticket for admittance to seating areas.
The term “ticket” includes (without limitation) (i) general admission tickets, reserved seating tickets, worker tickets, suite and hospitality (including without limitation club) tickets, hospitality passes, parking passes, camping passes, badges, credentials, and any piece of collateral that allows the holder access to the event site and/or a portion of the event site at and around Indianapolis Motor Speedway property and/or adjacent or other premises (all such areas collectively the “Speedway”) and/or certain restricted areas of the Speedway and (ii) any ticket, pass, or piece of collateral that allows the holder access to an event-related activity or service (for example and without limitation shuttle service).
Children 15 and Under
Children 15 and under receive free General Admission to select IMS events when accompanied by an adult General Admission ticket holder. All children, regardless of age, MUST hold a reserved seat ticket to access the grandstands on Race Day, where applicable.
Upgrade Delivery Option
Premium Shipping is available for orders in the United States as an option for $25 USD per order, in addition to the $10 USD per order ($10 USD during renewals) processing fee for customers who wish to have tracking for their orders. Tracking information will be provided via email once the tickets have shipped from the IMS Ticket Office.
Transfer of Tickets
The IMS Ticket Office will consider a ticket transfer request from IMS ticket account holders only. One individual, identified as the account holder, may hold the status of account representative. IMS no longer lists multiple names on an account. No other information (e.g., address, payment information, legal identifiers, accumulated seniority, etc.) is transferred. Ticket Reprinting and Product Replacement Fee
Event tickets and/or products should be treated like cash. IMS Ticket Office is not responsible for items that are lost, stolen or left at home and reprinting and/or replacement is offered solely as a courtesy under the terms below.
Tickets Replacement Fee: If a ticket is lost, stolen or left at home, IMS Ticket Office may reissue a replacement for a nonrefundable fee of $10 per ticket, once the original order has been confirmed.
Passes, Wristbands and Vouchers Replacement: If a camping pass, camping wristband, concert wristband, hospitality (car corral) voucher, parking pass, parking wristband, pit pass, program voucher, shuttle voucher or track walk voucher is lost, stolen or left at home, the customer may purchase a replacement product at the price paid for the original product, provided the product remains available for purchase at the time of the loss and the original order has been confirmed.
Purchaser Verification: Replacement ticket(s) and/or product(s) can only be requested by the original purchaser listed on the IMS Ticket Account, and valid photo identification is required. Upon replacement, the original ticket(s) and/or product(s) will be voided and cancelled.
Disclaimer: Replacement is not guaranteed. IMS Ticket Office reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline the reprinting or replacement of any lost ticket and/or product.
IMS Account Credit Policy
All tickets and other products purchased from the IMS Ticket Office are final sales, made on a no-refund, no-exchange basis. There may, however, be circumstances when a credit (hereinafter a “Credit”) will be issued to the holder of an IMS Ticket Account. The circumstances under which a Credit may be issued, and the amount of each such Credit, will be determined by the IMS Ticket Office in its sole discretion. A Credit may be used only to purchase tickets or other products from the IMS Ticket Office. Credits are not transferable to other Ticket Accounts or otherwise. All Credits expire three (3) years from the event year that the Credit is tied to.
IMS Ticket/Product Cancellation Policy
IMS Ticket Office has sole discretion to cancel any ticket/product order submitted without full payment or valid credit card information.
Handling and Service Fees
Products purchased from IMS are subject to a per order handling fee and a per product service fee. Product renewals are only subject to a per order handling fee. The amount of these fees varies depending on the event and other factors. All products are subject to any applicable federal, state and local sales taxes.
Ticket/Product Orders Outside of the United States
Ticket orders outside of the United States must select one of the following delivery options:
Option 1: Premium Shipping
Premium shipping is available for additional $65 USD per order, in addition to the $10 USD per order ($10 USD during renewals) processing fee. With Premium Shipping, you will be provided a tracking number via email to follow each step of the delivery process. The $65 USD payment may be charged to your account by calling the IMS Ticket Office at 317-492-6700, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The ticket office representative will update the delivery status to premium shipping and charge your credit card on file. We cannot deliver via premium shipping to a P.O. Box; you must provide a physical address for delivery.
Option 2: Hold for Pick Up
Call the IMS Ticket Office at 317-492-6700, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time, and our representative will update the delivery status to hold for Pick Up. Your ticket packet will be available at the IMS Ticket Office for pick-up upon your arrival. Once your order has been processed, notification for pick up will be sent to your email address. A valid photo ID is required to pick up your packet. We recommend that you also bring a copy of your notification email as well. The IMS Ticket Office is located in the Administration Building at 4790 West 16th Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46222. This is east of the roundabout at Crawfordsville Road and 16th Street, outside Turn 1 at the track. The parking lot entrance is across the street from the Speedway Gas Station on 16th Street. For your convenience, the IMS Ticket Office is open extended hours during event times as noted above in the Hours of Operation.
