Check-In and Check-Out Times
Guests with 4-day camping passes can begin check-in at 7 a.m. on Thursday, May 21. Guests will need to depart their camping space by noon on Monday, May 25.
Fans arriving on Wednesday, May 20 can stage beginning at 3 p.m. in Lot 1C or the Main Gate Lot (enter via Polco St.). Early entry is not allowed in any IMS camping lots.

Camping Policies
Wristband Policy
Camping wristbands are required for access into Lot 1A and Lot 1C during Indianapolis 500 race weekend May 21-25. RV and pull behind camping passes include six wristbands and they must be worn at all times. Additional wristbands are available for purchase through the IMS Ticket Office.
Fan Policies
Campers must remain inside their assigned campsite: individuals must be inside their assigned campsite between the hours of 1 a.m. - public gate opening time.

Fans camping at IMS and attending the Indianapolis 500 should be sure to monitor weather conditions and plan ahead for inclement weather. It is important that you have a personal safety plan and know what you will do if severe weather develops. Do not rely on IMS to provide weather updates. Personal Safety is your responsibility.
