The competition to make the field for the event will be intense with only 24 starting spots available for the final night’s $20,039-to-win main event Saturday, Sept. 28.

Competitors in the Driven2SaveLives BC39 presented by Avanti Windows & Doors will participate in a three-night format at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sept. 26-28.

The competition to make the field for the event will be intense with only 24 starting spots available for the final night’s $20,039-to-win main event Saturday, Sept. 28 at the action-packed quarter-mile dirt oval inside Turn 3 of Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The 39-lap feature race, part of the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship, honors late USAC champion and three-time Indianapolis 500 starter Bryan Clauson. In addition, it increases awareness of the Indiana Donor Network and its Driven2SaveLives campaign.

Let’s take a look at the format.

Thursday, Sept. 26

  • New this year, the Stoops USAC Sprint Car Invitational features 10 cars competing in an exhibition event. It’s the first time USAC Sprint Cars have raced on the quarter-mile dirt oval.

Thursday-Friday Sept. 26-27

  • The USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship field will be split for Thursday and Friday’s racing program, with 30 drivers competing Thursday and 29 competing Friday. Both nights’ action will include heat races, qualifying races and a semi-feature, concluding with a 30-lap feature paying $5,000 to win.

Saturday, Sept. 28

  • Multiple C-Mains, semi-features and a Last Chance Race will precede the feature.
  • The 39-lap feature will have 24 starters, plus two USAC provisional starters (if applicable) and two IMS options.

Public gates open at 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday. On-track action starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, 6:30 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday. Opening ceremonies for the BC39 Feature Night start at 7 p.m. Saturday.
