A visit to Indianapolis Motor Speedway was a popular part of the "Women with Drive" summit in December 2024 in Indianapolis.

Allison Melangton, senior vice president of Penske Entertainment Corp., will serve for the second consecutive year as the honorary chair of the “Women with Drive V – Driven by Mobil 1” summit Dec. 9-10 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

“Women with Drive” summits, organized by Women in Motorsports North America (WIMNA), aim to bring together motorsports professionals, offering new pathways for individuals to explore career opportunities, discuss current industry challenges and provide mentorship and resources for future growth in the motorsports industry.

Melangton, a prominent leader in motorsports for over a decade, is also recognized for her contributions to the Indianapolis community, serving on boards for major sporting events, including the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game and 2024 NBA All-Star Game. Additionally, she has won five Emmy Awards for her work with NBC during nine Olympic Games.

“I’m grateful to return as the honorary chair of ‘Women with Drive V,’” Melangton said. “It’s inspiring to see the continued growth and success of this summit. We’re excited to expand on what is offered this year, including more impactful educational sessions, valuable networking opportunities and resources designed to empower and support the next generation of women in motorsports.”

Previous “Women with Drive” summits have been held in Nashville, Tennessee; Charlotte, North Carolina; Phoenix and Indianapolis, respectively, from 2021 to 2024. For more information about the “Women with Drive V – Driven by Mobil 1” summit, click here.
